Jason & Amber Melby
OWNERS
Amber Melby has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has been a Registered Nurse for 27 years. She has worked in various settings, including the ICU, Liver Transplant Unit, Recovery Room, and, most recently, for Allina Home Care and Hospice from 2009 to 2019.
Amber is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health as the Licensed Assisted Living Director and is responsible for overseeing all regulatory processes and operations at the facility, as well as the Registered Nurse managing the care of the residents living at South View.
Jason Melby has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. He worked in law enforcement for 20 years before the Melby’s purchased South View.
Jason is the Office Manager responsible for payroll, billing, and human resources and oversees the building's daily facility maintenance operations. Jason is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health as the Certified ServSafe Food manager.
